Welcome to the NIGP Utah Chapter - We’re glad you’re here!

Governmental procurement professionals play an essential role in serving through ethical stewardship, transparency, and the responsible use of public resources. The work you do every day builds public trust and supports effective services across Utah.

I want to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who joined us for our May Chapter Meeting with breakfast. Switching things up was a great success, and the energy, networking, and collaboration were truly inspiring. It is these moments of connection that reinforce the strength of our procurement community.

Upcoming Events & Dates to Remember

• Service Project — Maverik Mobile Food Pantry (September 12): Mark your calendars! Details on location and time will be shared shortly, but please save the date to give back to our local community alongside fellow volunteers at the Maverik Mobile Food Pantry.

• Fall Chapter Meeting (September 17): Join us for our next chapter meeting as we gather for networking, professional development, and procurement updates.

• Save the Date — Reverse Trade Show (May 6, 2027): Looking further ahead, don't forget to reserve this date for our premier opportunity to connect with supplier partners and showcase the value of Utah’s public procurement.

Get Involved

I encourage you to stay active in our community, apply for scholarships, attend our events, and consider shaping our future by stepping into a leadership role. We have open positions starting in 2027 for Vice President, the Community Involvement Committee, and the Nominating Committee. Together, we continue to uphold the values that guide public service.
