Here is a wonderful opportunity to beat the heat and escape into the beautiful Utah mountains by visiting historic Park City, home of the Sundance Film Festival. Enjoy exploring Main Street on your own, experiencing the unique sites, restaurants, shopping, etc., that only Park City can offer. There is also the Main Street Trolley that can take you up and down the street. You may want to bring a light jacket for this tour.

NOTE: We have found that some shops may be closed since this is the first week of the “off-season” and we’re arriving in the evening. Here are some great places to visit that we know will be open:

Bars:

  • No Name Saloon
  • The Spur
  • The Wasatch Brewery (great food)
  • The High West Distillery (great food) – the only ski-in distillery in the world – located one street away from Main Street at 703 Park Ave.

Restaurants:

  • Handle – owned by Ty Burrell, star of Modern Family (one of our famous Utah residents)
  • Wahso – Asian fusion restaurant

Galleries/Museums:

  • Meyer Gallery
  • Old Town Gallery
  • Park City Museum - $10 admission, only open till 7:00 but has some cool displays including the original town jail
  • There are a couple other galleries that said they will stay open for us as well.
